ESPN RISE ABOVE MNF Chalk Talk Student Athlete Award

Inspired by RISE ABOVE, a multi-media ESPN RISE editorial franchise, ESPN recognizes the accomplishments of fourteen high school athletes (one male, one female) in MNF Chalk Talk host cities and they are invited to participate in a Behind the Scenes MNF Chalk Talk Production Tour and Panel. ESPN and the NFL are proud to introduce this special segment of MNF Chalk Talk as the ESPN RISE ABOVE MNF Chalk Talk Student Athlete Award.

ESPN RISE represents ESPN's commitment to engage and elevate high school student-athletes by providing them with recognition, resources, information and inspiration that can motivate them to improve their skills and achieve their goals to be the best they can be. RISE ABOVE recognizes Student Athletes who have overcome obstacles -- be they physical, emotional, geographical, etc. -- to succeed or Student Athletes who have inspired and helped others.
